Edit: I think this is being lost in translation so I want to state it plainly here. I write for my own pleasure. This has been my go-to outlet since I was 9. You can see all the cringey, just-for-me poetry and fics from when I was 11-14 on here. I'm not asking for more favorites because that's my only motivation. I'm not even asking you to go favorite my stuff. I'm bringing up the point that fanfiction is often under appreciated in fandom spaces to the point where a lot of authors get turned off especially if they're beginners or new to a fandom.
